BA Glass leads its activity by its values: Humbleness, Emotion, Ambition, Rigour and Transparency. Considering these values, as well as the importance of behavioral and ethical matters, we established rules and communication channels to ensure that all persons can report any known or reasonable suspicious irregularities mainly related to the matters below listed.
What is it?
BA aims to establish the rules on the communication of any unacceptable situation, act or omission, intentional or seriously negligent regarding the following matters:
- Public procurement
- Financial services, products and markets, and prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing
- Product safety and compliance
- Transport safety
- Environmental protection
- Radiation protection and nuclear safety
- Food safety for human and animal consumption, animal health and welfare
- Public health
- Consumer protection
- Privacy and personal data protection, and network and information systems security
- Acts or omissions contrary to and harmful to the financial interests of the European Union
- Acts or omissions contrary to internal market rules, including competition and state aid rules, as well as corporate tax rules
- Violent crime, especially violent, highly organized crime, and organized economic and financial crime
- Corruption, Bribery, Money laundering
- Undue Receipt or offer of an advantage
- Embezzlement
- Economic participation in business
- Extortion
- Abuse of power
- Prevarication
- Influence peddling
- Money laundering or fraud in obtaining or diverting a subsidy, grant or credit
- Any kind of discrimination, in any form and by any means
- Any kind of harassment, whether moral, physical, sexual, or any other possible kind
- Any breach of labor and/or human rights
- Any breach or violation of BA’s Code of Conduct and/or Code of Ethics
- Fraud
- Conflict of Interest
- Any other behavior that might be legally or morally censured
In this way it will be possible to eliminate and prevent these practices allegedly carried out by any stakeholder, employee, client, supplier, partner or any other entity or individual dealing with BA Glass Group.
When should be reported?
It must be reported whenever witnessed any irregularities related to the matters specified above.
Who should report?
All stakeholders should report any known or reasonable suspicious irregularities.
The report can be made anonymously or with the identification of the whistleblower.
All the complaints, including those in which the whistleblower is identified, will be treated with confidentiality and due care in order to protect the whistleblower.
How can it be reported?
The whistleblowing shall be made in writing, containing a description of all the facts and information that may support the assessment, and the investigation of the irregularity reported, and can be reported through the following channels:

What happens next?
The information will be treated in a confidential way and directly delivered to an independent and multidisciplinary team to analyze the situation, composed by the CEO, CPO, CFO and Group Legal Counsel.
Any reports concerning a member of the Executive Board or the CEO will be dealt with by the Group Legal Counsel.
Within a maximum period of 48 working hours of the reception of any irregularity, the appointed team shall start an investigation and, the final decision shall propose the application of the most appropriate measures in the light of the severity of the irregularity or the facts proven to exist.
Within a maximum period of 7 days, the whistleblower will be notified of the reception of the report and informed of the requirements, competent authorities and form and admissibility of the external report.
Is it safe to report?
All reports will not be subject to any retaliation, intimidation or discrimination, including disciplinary action.
Deliberately misuse or use in bad faith of the irregularity's whistleblowing may give rise to disciplinary or legal proceedings, as applicable.
We all have the duty to report any situation that may be considered as an irregularity.
